OFFICE STAFF
Sue Way works as Secretary to the Doctors from Monday to Friday. We also have a team of Data Input staff, who work in the "tower" at the very top of the building. Joy, Clare & Niki collect invaluable information for the Clinical Team, processing data at the highest level.
RECEPTIONISTS
We have 5 Receptionists, Steph, Carol, Kathy, Glenda & Marion who work Monday to Friday. They have a difficult job to do, with phone calls and enquiries from many directions. When telephoning for medical attention, the Receptionist may ask you a few details. They will treat what you say in strictest confidence, and have been trained to make these enquiries so that we can help you in the most appropriate way. Please treat them courteously.
PRACTICE NURSES
We have a Nursing Team at Bolton House:-
Sharon Harris RGN is our full-time Lead Practice Nurse. She works Mondays to Fridays from 8.30 am to 5pm (last available appointment is 4.40pm)
Rachel Young RGN is our Practice Nurse who works Mondays,Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 8.30 to 5.30 (last available appointment time 5.10 pm)
They are able to help with many problems including dressings, injections, minor injuries and first aid, travel immunisations, ear irrigation, cervical smears and health checks.
You can also speak to a Nurse over the telephone if you cannot make it to the Surgery and need advice, or leave a message for the Nursing Team, so that they can look up the necessary information and call you back.
DISTRICT NURSES
District Nurses are now based at Eastbourne Park Primary Care Centre, Broadwater Way, Eastbourne.
They provide Nursing treatments and advice to housebound and patients recently discharged from Hospital.

HEALTH VISITORS
The team of Health Visitors are also based at the Eastbourne Park Primary Care Centre. They are happy to discuss any health matter or family problem. They provide information, advice and support to all age groups, particularly at times of physical and emotional stress.

MACMILLAN NURSES
These Nurses work in the Community visiting and caring for terminally ill patients in their homes, and give advice and support to their families. They can be contacted on 01323 439290 (please note a message should be left with your contact details if the call switches to ansaphone).
COMMUNITY PSYCHIATRIC NURSES
The team will help with elderly, confused patients and their relatives, and deal with any mental health problems in the home. They can be contacted on 01323 747212
MIDWIFE
Unfortunately we no longer have a midwife clinic every Tuesday afternoon. All our expectant mums are asked to contact the team of Midwives at the Hospital on 01323 417400 ext 4109 to be allocated a venue in which they can attend their ante-natal checks.
SOCIAL SERVICES
They can help with all kinds of social problems, the Team includes the Home Care Organiser, Social Worker and Occupational Therapist. Their help-line is 0845 601 0664
